HR Manager - Ashton-in-Makerfield

North West Timber Treatments currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager based at our Ashton-in-Ma­ker­field site. The role offers a competitive salary as well as a range of company benefits. As HR manager you would report to the Managing Director and senior management team. Your respon­sibi­lities would be to work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures, liaise with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety, recruit staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates, make sure that prospective staff have the right to work at the organisation, develop and implement policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management, prepare staff handbooks, advise on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits, manage redundancy programmes, negotiate with staff on issues relating to pay and conditions, contracts and redundancy packages, administer payroll and maintain employee records, interpret and advise on employment law, deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures, develop HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements, plan and deliver training, including new staff inductions, analyse training needs in conjunction with departmental managers. HGV class 2 - Delivery Driver – Ashton-in-Makerfield

North West Timber Treatments currently have an exciting opportunity for an HGV class 2 – delivery driver based at our Ashton-in-Makerfield site. The role offers a competitive salary as well as a range of company benefits. As an HGV driver you would be working as part of a team and would report to the operations manager. Your key respon­­sibi­­lities would include exceeding customer expectations while delivering safely yet efficiently and profes­­si­­onally, supporting the ground time while loading and operating a Hiab for unloading although some manual labour will be required. The successful candidate will possess the following be attributes, efficiently route plan while enabling a safe load, motivated, energetic, well presented with a positive and polite manner.

Fence panel assembly operative – Manchester (Walkden) -3 candidates required.

North West Timber Treatments currently have an exciting opportunity for a FPA operative based at our Walkden site. The role offers a competitive salary as well as a range of company benefits. As a FPA operative you would be working as part of a team and would report to the production foreman and branch manager. Your key respon­­sibi­­lities would include manually loading panel machine with timber components, operating machine to assemble the panel and then once complete lifting a full complete panel of the machine and onto a loading pack while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
