TRADE COUNTER & PICKUP DRIVER
Our successful Walkden Branch is currently looking for a Trade Counter & Pickup Driver to join our team.
This is a customer-facing role with plenty of variety, supporting trade and retail customers at the counter, processing orders, and completing local deliveries and drop-offs. Holding an FLT licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities
Duties are varied and will include:
Serving customers at the trade counter and providing excellent customer service
Processing orders accurately and handling payments
Providing product advice and upselling where appropriate
Picking orders and preparing customer collections
Completing local deliveries and drop-offs as required
Loading/unloading vehicles safely (manual handling and/or FLT where applicable)
Maintaining stock displays and keeping the counter and work areas tidy and well presented
Supporting the branch team with general duties as required
What You’ll Need
Full clean UK driving licence (required)
Previous retail / trade counter experience (preferred)
Good communication and customer service skills
Basic IT skills for order processing (CRM / branch system)
Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
Advantageous:
Counterbalance FLT licence (advantageous, not essential)
The Details
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £29,742 per year (based on 47.5 hours per week)
Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday) + Saturdays on a rota (7:00am – 12:00pm)
