Established in 1989, North West Timber and Builder's Merchants has grown from a single unit to a leading regional supplier to trade, the general public and public sector.

NWTT relocated the group's head office and distribution centre to the current Ashton-in-Makerfield site in 2008, located on the outskirts of Wigan, following the sale of the previous premises in Haydock to Tesco plc. 

The purpose built 11 acre site is home to our sales and administrative teams, delivery vehicles and boasts bespoke treatment facilities, offering green and brown wood preservative treatments.

The Ashton-in-Makerfield site also has the most extensive range of materials (within the group) including:
