FLT & PICKUP DRIVER (CLASS 2 ADVANTAGEOUS)
Our successful Waterfoot Branch is currently looking for an FLT & Pickup Driver to join our external, yard-based team.
This is a hands-on role supporting yard operations and completing local deliveries and drop-offs. A full clean UK driving licence is required, and holding a Class 2 (HGV) licence would be advantageous. Saturday overtime is available.

Responsibilities
Duties are varied and will include:
Assisting customers with collections and queries
Picking and packing orders accurately
Loading and unloading vehicles safely
Operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock around the yard
Storing stock safely and securely
Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
Completing local deliveries and drop-offs as required
Supporting the branch team with general duties as needed
(Advantageous) Supporting Class 2 deliveries from time to time, depending on business needs (if qualified)
What You’ll Need
Counterbalance FLT licence (required)
Full clean UK driving licence (required)
Yard / warehouse / builders merchant experience (preferred)
Good customer service skills – you’ll deal with customers daily
Reliable, proactive approach and good attention to detail
Advantageous:
Class 2 (HGV) licence (CPC / Digi-tacho also beneficial)
The Details
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £29,742 per year (based on 45 hours per week)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday + Saturday overtime
Location: Waterfoot (in person)
