BRANCH MANAGER - WATERFOOT
Our successful Waterfoot Branch is currently looking for an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the branch.
This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for branch performance, customer relationships, team management, and ensuring high standards across operations, stock, logistics and health & safety.

The Role
Duties are varied and will include:
Leading, motivating and developing the branch team to deliver excellent service and results
Managing daily branch operations including stock control, logistics, merchandising and health & safety
Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade and retail customers
Driving branch performance, margin and sales targets through strong commercial focus
Monitoring and improving operational standards, processes and efficiency
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and industry standards
Handling customer issues professionally and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills
Strong experience within a builders’ merchant / timber merchant / construction supply environment (essential)
Proven leadership experience managing or supervising a team
Commercial awareness and ability to drive performance and improve results
Strong customer focus with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Organised, proactive and able to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lead by example and maintain high standards across the branch
The Details
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £33,000 – £38,000 per year (dependent on experience and the expertise you can bring to the role)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Saturday Working: Minimum requirement – Saturdays worked on a rotational basis (2 on / 1 off, to meet business needs)
Location: Waterfoot (in person)
