Assistant Branch Manager - Waterfoot
Our successful Waterfoot Branch is currently looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Assistant Branch Manager to support the day-to-day running of the branch.

The Role
Duties are varied and will include:
- Supporting the Branch Manager in leading and motivating the team
- Helping oversee daily operations including stock control, logistics, and health & safety
- Delivering excellent customer service and build strong relationships with trade and retail customers
- Assisting in driving branch performance and achieving sales targets
- Stepping up to manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Industry experience – background in builders’ merchants or construction supply is essential
- Leadership potential – experience supervising, mentoring or supporting a team
- Commercial awareness – understanding of branch operations and customer needs
- Results-driven approach – proactive in hitting targets and solving problems
- Customer focus – passion for delivering outstanding service
The Details
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm
Saturday Working: Minimum requirement – Saturdays worked on a rotational basis (2 on / 1 off, to meet business needs) 7:30am – 12:00pm
Location: Waterfoot (in person)
