We are looking to grow our B2B and retail customer base. As such, we’re expanding our sales team. We’re looking for an experienced Trade Counter Assistant, who will be front of house responsible for coordinating each sales touchpoint directly at branch and able to match our outstanding customer service ethos.

 

You will be the face and the voice of North West Timber, advising and supporting customers daily. Focusing on understanding our customers’ needs and concerns.

 

A genuine passion for customer service and experience is a must, a strong understanding of the timber and builders merchant industry is desirable. A proven successful sales background in other associated industries would be considered.

 

What You’ll Do

Develop and establish your branch sales pipeline with customers.
Manage existing and setup new account customers.
Providing excellent customer service.
Working as part of a team, whilst using your initiative to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
Strategically build and maintain your Branch pipeline working with the team to create strong relationships both retail and B2B consumer level.
 

What You’ll Need

Proven track record of excellent customer service.
Either previous sales experience within Timber & Builders Merchants or other associated business environment.
Good administration skills, experience in technology driven sales process (CRM system and Office 365)
A genuine passion for going above and beyond for customers.
An ability to show completer finisher mentality and an understanding of business processes.

There are 7 retail depots in the group, covering an array of manufacturing capabilities in timber treatment, sawmilling, fence panel production and joinery.
The company is recording double digit growth and wants to continue this by enhancing the online presence to the public and commercial customers.
