North West Timber Treatments Limited believes that business has a responsibility to account for its environmental impact. Our aim is to achieve continuous improvement in our environmental management and performance, to prevent pollution and increase the positive impact occurring as a result of its activities,

We are committed to purchasing all timber from legal sources and seek evidence of compliance from suppliers that they are operating with the laws of their country. The company unreservedly condemns illegal logging practices and keeps informed of processes and changes in environmental legislation.

We aim to set an example by caring for the environment by continually improving its environmental performance across it operations.

• Seek to introduce new techniques and technologies for using energy more efficiently without loss to productivity.
• To reduce energy consumption in our buildings.
• Reduction in water consumption.
• Promote recycling and the use of recycled materials.
• Noise emissions.
• Train all members of staff in aspects of waste minimisation within the remit of their designated responsibility and promote the principals of sustainable use of materials.
